WELCOME TO THE TECHNOLOGY CENTER
Here, our members are able to work on homework, improve their reading and math skills, learn new skills, and play. Members are encouraged to explore new technologies and are constantly motivated and challenged by their peers around them.
LEARNING PLATFORMS
SuccessMaker
SuccessMaker is a personalized Math and Literacy program. Members can choose to work on either the Math or Reading and are given questions based on their skill level within a 15 - 30 minute time frame.
CS First
Google CS First introduces students to Computer Science by teaching and having them program their own mini projects. Students watch instructional videos and then use Scratch to create programs. Scratch is a language that creates instructions using visual blocks.
Duolingo
Duolingo is a language learning platform that we encourage members to learn and practice from. Our main goal with this is to expose them to a language and get them started for high school.
TypingClub
TypingClub is a web-based program that teaches members how to type. They work on hand and finger placement and get lessons to practice proper form.
