COVID-19 SAFETY
SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY
Staff, parents, & members will follow Orange County Health Agency & CDC protocols daily. We have increased cleaning protocols & frequencies.
HEALTH SCREENINGS
Members AND parents will be required to have their temperature taken at drop-off every day. A child cannot stay if a parent refuses a check or if anyone has a temperature of 100 degrees or above.
MASKS AND DISTANCING
All staff, members, and visitors are required to wear a mask while on the premises. Staff and members practice social distancing within the Club.
SAFETY PROCEDURES
- Staff will greet children outside as they arrive. All parent drop-off and pick-up will be done outside to limit contact with parents and staff.
- Temperature screenings will be conducted on staff, member, and parent as well as a visual inspection for signs of infection.
- Parents will give verbal verification that the member has not had contact with a person with a confirmed case or who is sick, or has traveled to a location with widespread community transmission.
- Staff and members are required to wear face masks.
- Frequent and thorough hand washing is required; staff & members will be provided with multiple places to wash their hands.
- If soap and running water are not immediately available, we will provide alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60% alcohol.
- Hand hygiene stations will be set up so children can clean their hands before they enter a room.
- A maximum of 10 children will be grouped together at any one time.
- Staff and members are to maintain social distancing as best as possible.
- Curriculum will encourage individual activities in a group setting with adequate distancing.
CLEANING POLICIES
- Staff clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces and objects that are frequently touched, especially toys and games after EVERY rotation and at the end of the day.
- This includes cleaning objects/surfaces not ordinarily cleaned daily such as doorknobs, light switches, classroom sink handles, counter tops, desks, and chairs.
