Environmental Education

Environmental Education

A one of a kind program that is specifically unique to Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin, this program area is designed to help expose youth to the different themes involving our environment. Youth learn about a variety of topics that include animals, recycling, conservation, and more! Our program area is currently home to 9 different species of animals:
* Millipedes
* Chinchillas
* Leopard Geckos
* Blue Tongued Skink
* Ball Pythons
* White's Tree Frog
and many more!

Creature Care

A program designed to help teach youth the responsibility it takes to care for a pet. Youth are taught how to properly interact with animals in a safe manner, clean their homes, make enrichment toys, and how to make their diets.

Animal Labs

An in depth look at some of our current residents at the club that is usually paired with both a lesson and activity. Over the course of a few months youth are exposed to what it takes to be a mammal, bird, and reptile. Youth also have the opportunity to get up an up close look at some of these animals while learning about them.

Zoo Explorer Club

We dedicate one day a week to learning about a new plant or animal. This allows youth the opportunity to see some of the unique wildlife that is within our world. This club also will help touch on topics such as conservation efforts and different ways we can help continue to save animal habitats and the world around us. Activities include recycling projects, possible fundraisers, and opportunities to meet different animal ambassadors.
