Each Wednesday, teens will assist staff with the "Little Rascal Program" (Kindergarteners) at the Tustin Library. Teens and "Little Rascals" will walk to the library and participate in reading programs. Please see staff to sign-up to receive a free library card.
Junior Leaders
The Junior Leaders Program is designed to assist teens to develop vocational and personal skills as well as assist the Boys & Girls Club staff in providing leadership, supervision of Club programs and being mentors to Club members ages 5-12. Junior Leaders is open for teens ages 13-18, with teens enrolled assisting Club staff during regular business hours Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 6:30pm. The Club will provide additional field trips, special events, programs and services for those who participate through their volunteer service. The Club will work with local businesses and the Chamber of Commerce and provide job training for program participants. This program is an opportunity to work together to develop skills for life and future career while having fun.
"Indulge" Baking and Business Program
This summer we will be introducing an exciting new entrepreneurial opportunity for teen members. "Indulge" is the Club’s brand new cupcake business. Teens will work alongside staff to bake home-made cupcakes that parents may purchase for parties and events. This is a great opportunity to teach teens the skills needed to be a future baker, party planner or business owner.
Reading Club
Everyday members will be able to read towards winning fun incentives and prizes. After lunch, our Club library will be fully open and quiet space reserved to help kids keep reading throughout the summer. Once a week there will also be a free walking field trip to the Tustin Branch Library.
